FLEXI-BOUND is highly flexible, thixotropic two
pack material consisting of high solids polymer with
modified cement bound mineral powder. Flexi-Bound is
paint able and has high adhesion with concrete / masonry
surfaces. The Coating of Flexi Bound possesses high
flexural and tensile strength and thus elastic in nature.
Flexi Bound is free form chlorides and any other corrosive
substances.

Surface Preparations :-
Clean thee base thoroughly
by wire brush and remove the loose material, dust, grease,
oil or other foreign particles. Cracks must be opened
by means of cutter / manually. Clean the surface then
by water to remove all dust and saturate the base by
water and dampen the surface, remove the excess water.
Fill the crack / honey comb with Crack bound / or repair
mortar composed of Repair Bound to be filled directly
to the sound groove / honey comb substrate.
Mixing & Application Procedure :-
Flexi Bound consists of a
liquid component and a power component. Take a clean
container add it Flexi Bound Liquid add to it water
and then slowly start adding flexi Bound power component
in the ratios given below. Mix thoroughly for 3-4 minutes
and do not mix materials that can be used in 15 minutes.
At 25ºC the working time is 15 minutes. Flexi Bound
is applied in two coats at 1.5mm thickness. For hair
line cracks prepare the surface as described above and
then apply two coats of Flexi Bound over with a width
of 6-8 inch. The mixed material can be applied by trowel
or brush before application the surface should be moist
not wet remove excess of water if any. The interval
between two coats 3-4 hours
